This was my first time doing a DEXA scan - a gift and something I’d been planning to do for a while. From arrival there was a calming atmosphere and Szilard who carried out our scans delivered in similar fashion. Came and saw Szilard for my first dexa and he was fantastic, the whole process was easy to understand and gave some really useful insights.

I had my DEXA scan with Arthur on 28 July to get a clear baseline ahead of a disciplined year of training and nutrition before I turn 40 next year. Arthur was brilliant. I’ve got a sporting background and already know quite a bit about health and fitness, but I still came away having learned a lot. He gave me some really useful and unexpected advice, particularly around why simply chasing a particular body-fat percentage wouldn’t necessarily be the smartest goal for me because of the amount of muscle I carry. Instead, Arthur helped me understand how much body fat I should realistically aim to lose based on my actual body composition. That has made my goal much more precise and means I won’t waste time chasing an arbitrary percentage that may not give me the result I’m actually looking for. He also gave me some great insight into my visceral fat, muscle balance, bone density and overall health, as well as practical advice I can apply to my training. I left feeling even more motivated about the year ahead, but also much clearer about what I should be targeting and why. I’d definitely recommend Arthur to anyone who wants to properly understand their body composition rather than just being handed a set of numbers.

The whole experience was friendly and professional. The scan is very quick and non-intrusive. I went to see if all my hard work had paid off and the results proved it had. Throw away your scales at home! before I had my Dexa scan I thought I wasn't making progress in my training and physique, but the scan showed my athletic age was 15 years younger than my actual age, my body fat was low and I was actually doing really well. I'm so glad I did a scan as it's given me a base to re arrange my training and nutrition.

First time doing a DEXA scan and it was a great experience. Jakab was super friendly and had some really good advice, definitely worth the money. Clean spot, no complaints, and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting an accurate baseline on body fat and bone density. That said, it would have been nice to have the results printed out to take home.

The report and statistics avalaible as a result of the scan make the cost worthwhile.
